Antude develops Docsy. Local reading and AI processing are separate from optional cloud and voice features.
Information we use
- Local documents: files, reading preferences, extracted text, annotations, OCR results, search indexes, and chat history support reading, search, and document questions on your device. Local reading needs no Antude account.
- OneDrive: connecting Microsoft uses account and sign-in information and retrieves file listings for browsing. Opening a file downloads it; enabling backup or sync uploads documents and metadata to your OneDrive, including in the background.
- Voice input: optional dictation uses your microphone and Android’s speech service, which may send audio to its provider for transcription.
- Support: we receive the email, message, and attachments you send to respond to requests and investigate issues.
Connected services
Local AI inference does not send your documents to an Antude AI server. Downloading models contacts Hugging Face, which receives ordinary download information such as your IP address. See its Privacy Policy.
Microsoft handles OneDrive and authentication under its Privacy Statement. Google ML Kit supports document tools and processes device/app information, installation identifiers, and performance diagnostics even when text recognition runs locally. See Google’s ML Kit disclosure. Your selected speech provider handles dictation under its own policy.
Antude does not sell personal information. Communications providers handle support messages; information may also be shared where required by law.
Your choices and retention
Review file, network, and microphone permissions in Android. You can use text input without microphone access. Android may back up selected app preferences.
Local records remain until cleared or removed, subject to backups. Files saved outside app storage may remain after uninstalling. Disconnecting OneDrive does not delete its remote files; manage those through Microsoft. Other providers apply their own retention controls.
We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information Antude holds. Avoid sending private documents unnecessarily.
Security and contact
Connected services use protected connections and account controls. No system can guarantee absolute security. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child’s information.
