Antude develops Torrq, an Android torrent client. This policy explains how the app handles information.
Downloads and network activity
Torrq requires no Antude account. Downloads, torrent details, preferences, and transfer statistics are stored on your device. Your downloaded files are not uploaded to an Antude storage service.
BitTorrent connects your device directly to trackers and other peers. These participants can see your IP address and torrent participation, and files are shared with peers as part of transfers and seeding. This traffic does not pass through Antude’s servers.
Ads, purchases, and support
In the ad-supported version, Google AdMob processes IP addresses, device and advertising identifiers, ad interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, measurement, and fraud prevention. Privacy settings and consent affect personalization. Google Play handles available in-app purchases; Antude does not receive payment-card details through checkout. Purchase information is used to provide the corresponding entitlement.
Google services handle information under Google’s Privacy Policy. If you contact us, your email, message, and attachments are used to respond and investigate issues. Communications providers help deliver these messages. Information may also be disclosed where required by law. Antude does not sell personal information.
Your choices and retention
Choose where downloads are stored, stop transfers when desired, and review storage and notification permissions in Android. Manage advertising preferences through Android and your Google account.
Local settings remain until cleared or removed, subject to device backups. Downloaded files may remain after uninstalling; delete them from their storage location. Uninstalling does not delete Google’s purchase or service records. Google and other providers apply their own retention controls.
We retain support correspondence as needed to resolve requests and meet legal obligations. Contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of information Antude holds.
Security and contact
App permissions and device controls help protect local files. Google services use protected connections; BitTorrent traffic is shared with external peers and should not be treated as private. No system guarantees absolute security. Depending on your location, additional privacy rights may apply. Parents or guardians can contact us about a child’s information.
